Over 34,000 members of the public and 126 cross party MPs have supported Dr Luke Evan’s MP’s campaign calling on supermarkets to add a ‘Buy British’ tab on their websites to make it easier to choose British produce. Thanks to that support, seven out of eight retailers have now announced the introduction of a ‘British section’ - Tesco, The Co-op, Waitrose, Ocado, Sainsbury’s, Aldi and Morrisons. Let’s encourage all supermarkets to come on board and add the ‘Buy British’ tab to highlight the best of British produce and make it easier for you to choose British when doing your online grocery shopping.
